Richard A. McFarlane, PhD

Richard A. McFarlane, J.D., Ph.D. is a seasoned legal professional, and publisher and editor-in-chief of Lex Scripta Legal Research Group, a provider of continuing legal education to attorneys. He is a visiting adjunct instructor at the University of California Riverside, Law and Society Program. Dr. McFarlane received his Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, California and received his Doctor of Philosophy from the University of California at Riverside in Nineteenth-century United States History and History of the American West. He is the author of several articles on legal history and legal ethics, and of The Only-Two-Party System: Why Third Parties Are Unconstitutional available on Amazon.com.
