Elna Katherman

Elna Katherman is a professional Genealogist. Elna became interested in genealogy when she attended college and has been doing research for over 25 years. She is currently a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists (APG), the Southern California Chapter of the Association of Professional Genealogists (SCCAPG), the National Genealogical Society (NGS), and The New England Historical and Genealogical Society (NEHGS).
Elna is currently teaching classes in Beginning Genealogy, and Finding Your Story in the US Census at the Family Search Library in Orange. She also teaches several classes in how to use the FamilySearch Family Tree program at the LDS Family History Center in Irvine.
In addition to public speaking she loves working at the FamilySearch Library in Orange, collecting family histories, attending Family History Conferences, quilting, kayaking with her husband and visiting with their 6 children and 13 grandchildren.
